Summary:
The Water Truck Driver is responsible for loading and hauling water to appropriate areas and provide dust control and sprays material for compaction in designated areas. Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental and DOT requirements are always followed.
Requirements:
- Provides dust control for haul roads and deliver water for plant dust suppression system.

Helps motor grade process by spraying material for compaction purposes.

Performs timely delivery and unloading of products at customer sites and fostering outstanding customer service.

Strive for superior safety and require efficient operations of the truck through pre and post trip inspections, and compliance with company operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.

Complete all driver logs and truck performance reports.

Performs daily pre-shift safety inspections. Identifies safety problems and necessary adjustments of braking system.

Records any mechanical issues on daily log and informs the Supervisor or other designee.

Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.

Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.

Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.

Hooks up and disconnects trailers as required.

Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.

Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

HS Diploma/GED or equivalent experience (equivalent is 2 years) in a construction-related field.

Must have 2+ years or more with a water hauler on construction sites

Ability to drive through all weather, road, and traffic conditions.

Must be able to recognize, read and understand Hazardous Materials documents.

Functional competencies include accountability, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and agility.

Arrive to work on time and be willing to work long hours as required.
Anticipated base salary range: $25.00 - $29.00
The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
